Amp's type: COLTON 200W bass head

Band(s): Piramis+, Omen
Date: 19.11.2012.

Where tested (practicing room, concert, studio, shop):
SP practicing room

Instrument that used for test:
Fender Precision Special 2011

Cabinet that used for test:
SP-410 / 4×10" Jensen, SP-115/ 1×15" Celestion

External appearance (Design):
Professional front design, attractive appearance. At a first glance, the inspiration is that it is adjustable only by professional musicians. It is designed with quite enough big air vents. Because of its weight it would be better with two handles on both sides.

Sound (clean and distorted channels, compressor, EQ, tone, etc.):
My first impression was: it is not a tube amp. It was so „attack” and lean with cold sound. Then, as I digging into deeper an deeper - the real tube head sound came up. I liked that various, totally different characters can be produced. The amp gives back the sound of the guitar and not forcing any character that you may not want.

Features (Effect-loop, foot switch, safety solutions, etc.):
I did not test the Effect-loop, but the speaker controll and fuses on each and every tube are professional solutions.

What kind of other amps should be build (combo, different power range, etc.):
It would be nice to build 6×10" and 8×10" cabinets

Suggestions (further features, appearance, etc.):
That's good as it is.
